This book is the "Parent Workbook", which describes all the Fundamentals and Tennis strokes that will be taught in the series.
My First Tennis Lessons, is a set of 9 soft cover booklets take children on adventures with Emma, the main character in the stories. The children will be guided to perform a total of 32 animal rescue missions. Each mission requires learning a tennis stroke which they will be performing with ease because it is all a part of the story.
Le Petit Tennis (LPT) is the brainchild of former ATP and WTA tennis pros, Jean Philippe and Sybile Fleurian. With their two daughters in mind, they founded Le Petit Tennis in 2001 with the goal of teaching tennis to very young children. They crafted the curriculum with sports psychologists, child development specialists and tennis trainers from the French Tennis Federation.
LPT is a visual story program that helps children ages 3-8 discover tennis through a series of engaging stories while traveling across countries and cultures. LPT uses adventure stories in tennis lessons to encourage children to play with imagination while becoming more intense in the drills. The stories, images and role play components allow for better communication with children and maximize their attention span and focus.

Only animals live there, but all different kinds of animals: pigs, foxes, rhinoceroses, giraffes, elephants, cows, tigers and lions, crocodiles, mice and naturally storks. Normally the females bring the children into the world, but there it works quite differently: There is always a stork, who is assigned to bringing the babies to their parents.
This stork continues for a long time, until itself gets a baby. The animal babies are wrapped into large, green leafs and rest upon a small, soft cloud high up in the sky. There they must be picked up and are taken to their parents who already wait impatiently for the arrival of their new generation.
There was one stork lady named Ariane, who kept delivering animal babies for months or even years, but she herself did not get any baby to keep. This made her very sad...

Lucifairy lives in a cave, deep beneath the earth. It’s where the sun never shines and the ground is so hot that you shouldn’t go there with bare feet, in order not to burn yourself.
But Lucifairy can easily walk here, because she doesn’t have feet like you. She can’t wiggle her big toe, or paint her nails. Also, there’s never any dirt between her toes, even when she hasn’t used a bathtub for some time. She never has sweaty feet, and she doesn’t need any shoes, because she really has no feet, but hooves, as small as those of a sheep, but hers are as black as the night. Lucifairy doesn’t like her feet, she thinks they’re ugly. Ugly like worm dirt, she murmurs every night before going to bed. She’d like to have other feet, although she has never seen others than hooves.
